Catholic Schoolboy Turned Satanic Porno Art Punk Superstar!

After eight years in the Catholic School System, an education rooted in "mind-fucking", fear and shep mentality, John John discovered punk rock in the early 80's and earned his degree in street anarchism. Played in the legendary and still influential NYC punk bad, Nausea and toured the world for many years. Leaning to say "no" to the mundane rules and codes of "normality" set upon us from society and his strict education and pious family values, he began his art career as a punk/-hardcore flyer and record sleeve illustrator.

He went on to spend time in other bands like the dark industrial Thorn, the dark metal band Devlin and the grindcore band Disassociate . Currently, he is devoting all his time to his gallery work and other art related projects.

His twisted obsesstion with Catholicism, Satan and Sex prompted his current body of work, appropriately called "Demonica Erotica". His beautiful and ghoulishly sexy work has been featured in such magazines as Fetish, Vampyre, Tear, NY Waste, The Aquarian, High Times and Pehtnouse Fetish Online and has been exhibited in a host of galleries. His pin-up work has appeared in Glenn Danzig's Verotik Comics and is also a part of NYC's Subculture Gallery collective. A coffee table book deal is also in the works.

John John recently released the character limmerick "Baby Demonica" with Howie Pyro and has new york city solo art exhibit at Art@Large Gallery
