|John C. Worsley was born in 1978 in Sacramento, California. In 1985 his family moved to Portland, Oregon where he still resides. His passion from an early age lay in self-taught creative endeavors such as drawing, writing, and composing typically moody, adolescent music on the family piano.|
After seven and a half uninterrupted years of work in the technology sector, John left the company he co-founded to pursue artistic endeavors full-time in 2003.
In addition to writing and illustrating comics, John has developed 3D code and art resources for film (Elephant, by Gus Van Sant), composed and released electronic music (under the name "lxl"), and has written a book on the confusingly named PostgreSQL database (Practical PostgreSQL, by O'Reilly and Associates).
