Sincerity, apology, gratefulness.
Too much time has gone by without a major update, but this site has not died. James Woodward's These Things Happen, Adam White's White Noise, and Mark Teppo's SYMBOLIC have stayed alive through the slow times and I strongly encourage everyone to check them out. Even if you have before, these creations don't get old, and I've found myself enjoying them even more with repeated readings.
I'd like to take this time and welcome a new creator on the site, Dave Senecal. He's the featured creator for this month and several samples of his work can be found over in VISION.
I've been swamped in submissions lately (my apologies to you who I haven't replied to quite yet), so expect the following months to be plentiful with new content. I'm introducing a new way of featuring content this month. Each month will feature a new creator, be they a SEQUENCE artist, VISION artist, WORD author, TRANSMIT author, or LISTEN contributor. If a certain existing contributor to the site has a major update of content, they will be granted a feature as well, though new contributors are given priority.
I'd also like to express well wishes to Jeannine Acevedo, beloved wife of our Minister of Words, Aaron Ace. She recently went through brain surgery and I'd like to dedicate this relaunch to her health.
Finally, this new front page is the first phase of a site-wide update. If there are any problems with the site, please email webmaster@opi8.com or leave a message on the forums.
